Last night I had a dream! I dreamed about a beautiful house, "a mansion". It was on a lot with no yard in a large city. But it was the most beautiful house or mansion I have ever seen.
It had a garage where the car or limousine could drive in and park side of a large living room with double doors. Next to it was a large den. On the other side of the living room was a large dinning room with the kitchen next to it. Back of these rooms was a large porch with beautiful railings and flowers. Rest rooms very convenient to all these rooms. Everything was very convenient and beautiful!
There were three floors with steps running up to each floor. Also, there was a large elevator for taking things up to each floor.
On the steps going up I briefly met my Dad and we commented on the beautiful mansion.
The second floor was very elaborate with all the beautiful furnishings. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and all necessary things to make everyone happy.
The third floor was just as beautiful and was for special guest that came to visit and to see the beautiful house. All necessary furnishings to make them happy!
Above the third floor was a balcony with all the open-air furnishings necessary for outdoor entertainment.
Yet, still above it was a little perch for extra sightseeing. Seeing the clouds, mountains & valleys, trees, rivers, open seas, and much more.
In the last part of my dream I was sitting up on the perch. The whole mansion was just flying through the air like an airplane.
I don't know the meaning of it now but I pray that God will show me!! l John 14:1-3 Jesus tells He is preparing a mansion for us. John 14: 1-4, 6,7 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God believe also in me. In my fatherís house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go and prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Verse 5 Thomas ask, How can we know the way? "Jesus saith unto Him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me".
I trusted Jesus as my Saviour at 11 years old. from then until I was 30 years old I continued to trust Him as' Saviour. Like He said "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be given unto you." "THINGS"
Well! I sought Him and His Righteousness for my family, and myself us 4 and no more. But God showed me that was not all He wanted me to do. He wanted me to show and tell others how to seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness.
That is when I turned family and myself over to God. 1940.
Romans 12:1,2 "1 beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service and be not conformed to this world; but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may know what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God".
In 1940, I put these 2 verses into practice. I turned my wife, 2 children, and myself over to God. So far, at 90 years old, I have not recanted. I still belong to Christ. I still want to tell and show others His way and will. In other words I not only want Christ to prepare a mansion for me but for every soul that I can win to Him as Saviour and Lord.
In 1940 Jesus Christ became Lord of my life. In ! 922 He became my Saviour. In 1940 He became my Lord. I have found that it is not easy to win sinners to Him as Savior, and it is even harder to win them or lead them to let Him to Lord of their lives.
Let me ask you a question!!! If Jesus Christ is not Lord of your life, then who is Lord? He is letting you choose. You are Lord or He is Lord. You? Which? LORD
If Jesus Christ is Lord then He will work through you to help others find Him and His Righteousness. You will be in for a happy life.
If you choose to be Lord of your life you may be in for some very harsh chastisement.
Jonah thought he would be Lord of his life but when got out of the big fish he went running to tell the Ninivites God's message.
Why don't you stop right here and now and read the short book of Jonah. You just might learn a lesson.
